The City of St. John’s is making New Year’s Eve 2016 celebrations more hearing accessible with FM listening systems.

On Dec. 31 come and join our party ‘It All Starts Here’, and be among the first in North America to ring in the New Year and the launch of Canada 150 celebrations! Bring the whole family to the steps of City Hall for a live outdoor concert starting at 9 p.m.

Assisted listening devices from Canadian Hard of Hearing Association – Newfoundland and Labrador and noise cancelling headphones will be located at the Information HQ for anyone that might need them. To borrow one for use that night we’ll hold a piece of ID, which will be returned when the device is returned.
