ON WORLD HEARING DAY, MAKE YOUR HEARING HEALTH A PRIORITY!
The Canadian Hard of Hearing Association – Newfoundland and Labrador (CHHA-NL) is recognizing World Hearing Day with a brand new program.
On Saturday, March 3, 2018 the CHHA-NL will launch a brand new complimentary hearing screening program at the Provincial office in Mount Pearl.
- Never had a hearing test?
- Have difficulty hearing in noise or in certain settings?
- Are others suggesting that you may not be hearing as well as you used to?
Join the hearing loss support specialist staff at the CHHA-NL on Saturday, March 3 for your complimentary hearing screening.
Visit the Provincial Office (1081 Topsail Road, Mount Pearl) between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm on Saturday, March 3 and take part in a hearing screening. No appointment is necessary for this special event.
WHAT IS HEARING SCREENING?
A hearing screening can be a first step toward better hearing health. A screening is a quick test to see how well you hear certain sounds that are important for understanding speech. If you do not pass the hearing screening, you will be referred to a hearing hearing health care professional for a complete hearing evaluation, including treatment options, if deemed necessary.
