1. Purpose
CHHA-NL is committed to maintaining a culture of integrity, transparency, and accountability. This Employee Concern Reporting Policy provides employees, contractors, and stakeholders with a mechanism to report unethical, illegal, or improper conduct without fear of retaliation.
2. Scope
This policy applies to all employees, officers, directors, contractors, and stakeholders of CHHA-NL It covers suspected violations related to:

3. Reporting a Concern

4. Confidentiality & Anonymity

5. Investigation Process
Upon receiving a report:

The Board Chair will review the complaint.

A preliminary assessment will determine if an investigation is required.

If warranted, an independent investigation will be conducted.

The person who filed the report will be informed of the outcome, if possible.
6. Protection Against Retaliation
CHHA-NL strictly prohibits retaliation against anyone who files a report under this policy. Anyone who retaliates against a person who files a report will face disciplinary action, including termination.
7. False Reports
Knowingly submitting false or misleading reports is a serious offense and may result in disciplinary action.
