Mission

The Canadian Hard of Hearing Association Newfoundland and Labrador (CHHA-NL) is dedicated to being the voice of advocacy and the provider of province-wide support for people with hearing loss.

Create a barrier-free community for people with hearing loss.

  1. Creating an inclusive environment where people feel comfortable being themselves.

  2. Empowering individuals to achieve well-being through client-focused, evidence-based, confidential services.

  3. Treating clients, members, staff and volunteers with dignity and respect and supporting their right to make informed decisions.

  4. Recognizing the barriers to accessibility in our communities, workplaces and homes.

  5. Working in partnership with clients, members, staff, volunteers, community and other organizations to promote the importance of hearing health.

  6. Accountability to our clients, members, staff, volunteers, funders, donors, and the community at large.
