We provide a wide variety of programs and information for children, youth, young adults and families of children with hearing loss.  

 

Programs for Children, Youth & Families

  • Annual family summer camp for hard of hearing children, siblings and parents/guardians.
  • Families Facebook Group: To connect with other families who have children with hearing loss.
  • ARC Achievement Program (Advocacy, Readiness and Connections) for youth

Parent Resources

  • Hearing Assistive Technology Lending Program  “shake awake” alarm clocks, telephone technology, visual and tacile smoke detectors and much more.
  • Resource Library – a variety of books for children and pre-teens about hearing and hearing loss.

Below is a list of pre-recorded webinars for parents and caregivers to help support a child with hearing loss.

Listen and Learn: An Educational Program for Caregivers of Young Children with Hearing Loss is a 4-part webinar series that was designed for caregivers of children with hearing loss. This FREE program hopes to empower caregivers to create a language-rich environment at home. This will help their children learn to listen, talk, and flourish. Click the button below to learn more.
